I guess i was nervous the very first time and i even remember noticing how my voice was trembling to the bones (if i can say) back in year 2000 but now things are different. When you know what you are talking about and you are serious (well, all you can be!) then there’s no need to be nervous. This was last year in Cape Town talking to 50 of my colleagues on Quality Control procedures and Open Data validation.
Now that i have just come back from these two conferences in Peru and Chile y have the perspective and the calm to enjoy a lot while i communicate, exactly the same way i have always done on a one by one basis while teaching geography, english or accounting (yes, i studied business before i master GIS technologies, crazy, i know).
