BSc in Geography UVa 1998, MSc in GIS and Remote Sensing UAH 2007 Started this website in summer 2008 after I got back from working in GIS in South Africa. I needed to gather all the things I was dealing with in the same place. It’s working for me, otherwise I would have forgotten most of the stuff I have handled through the years 🙂
Started as an Aerial Surveying photographer and surfed Design and Sales before I came back to the University in 2006 to get my MSc degree in UAH and kept this amazing Geodata world non stop so now I can say I’m a Geographer with over 20 years of experience in Geographic Information Technologies. Specialized in GIS data architecture, rigorous QC protocols, advanced geospatial modeling, and high-density data visualization. Nowadays streamlining complex spatial workflows through the technical integration of LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude). I leverage Generative AI for rapid prototyping, automated script generation in R and JavaScript (Google Earth Engine), and the development of custom algorithmic solutions. My focus is on technical scalability and automation, using AI-assisted coding to optimize large-scale satellite imagery processing and the extraction of insights from multi-source geospatial datasets.
